The board will show your email to other members if you unless told otherwise. Although all precautions will be taken to route out any spammers who join the board, the board is open incidents may occur were your email address will be abused by being spammed.
For your own convenience and safety, we would highly suggest modifying your profile so that your email is hidden from the pubic. You can do this by accessing the Profile button from the toolbar at the top of most pages on this site. Then tick the box for "Hide Email from public?" and then click the "Change profile" button at the bottom of your profile.
