Ok this may seem sneaky but if I was to have them delivered to friend who lives in the US (who could then send them to me, declaring a gift) would there still be taxes? I'm really clueless about this kinda thing, as the only thing i've had sent from the States are action figures and i've never been charged anything but shipping.........yes I know I'm a figure geek, but it's an obsession lol, the new Buffy and Angel figures rock lmao! ;D EDIT: OH MY GOD!!! I just tried to fing out what the cost would be on the site Angel1969 posted, it would be £57.24 for HALF a season, that's not including whatever custom charges would be  Angel1969 I suggest we wait to see what the US has to offer in December  |

Thats exactly what you want to do. Get them sent to your friend. For starters they could probably forward them to you for less than a company would charge.
I think the way it works is they would still have to write on the package what it is and the value. But you could get them to make something up thats worth $10 or something and clearly mark its a gift. They could check it if they are suspicious but I doubt its likely.

Wow that is alot of money. I am lucky enough to have a good friend who lives in California. I think i will be sending her the money to buy it, then get her to send it on to me as a 'gift'. I have this awful feeling it will never be released here in the UK.

Is there a limit if something is sent as a gift? I know you have to fill in one of those lil green cards for some reason or another but dodnt know value affected it |
