Hi all. Like i said before, im none to happy that it isn't on anymore. Im absolutely desperate to have it on DVD. My 9 year old has broken up for summer holiday and i know she would rather watch friends, so i can see channel 4's reasons behind it. Doesn't make it any easier though, lol......I was over at ebay just now, and the first complete season was on DVD. It also said they had season 5, i thought it wasn't available?

The same seller was selling season 5 a while ago and as far as I remember it didn't state that it was a copy, and it went for a high price too, if it was me and I paid loads for a copy i'd be well pissed off!
Does anyone know what the shipping and tax rates would be if I decided to buy from Japan?

Yup me too, i'll get them from America if I have to, as i'm sure they'll come out there first, though I must say we do get the Buffy and Angel dvd's before America ;D

hi faith in answer to your question yesterday i looked at the site i put up the other day & the only way to tell what the shipping costs will be is to go to checkout it will tell you what the final price is before you complete & if its too much you can always cancel. hope this helps!

As for the DVDs, no idea how much in total you would need to pay to get them from Japan. If you have a trawl through the threads on the UK pace Third Watch board I'm sure someone talked about ordering it before.
The release date in the US seems to be December just now. If you are going to get them from there I would use playusa as as far as I know they ship them from europe so you avoid huge shipping costs and also the risk of customs slapping tax on it too.

You got customs tax from something ordered from Play? Oh ok there goes me theory then! I was told they usually sent everything from Europe so that didnt happen. I used to buy cds from a cheap company in USA and it is just luck what gets through and what doesnt. I think roughly 1 in 3 times I would get caught and sent a bill. The company always puts a decleration sticker on the outside of the packaging if its over the $20 or whatever it is, but they much only check some of them. Just be aware if you do order DVDs from the US even after you pay for the DVDs, shipping etc when you buy them, you could get a second bill.  |
